A More Even Complexion, with Less Visible Redness

Visible capillaries, lingering redness, and uneven texture can take attention away from skin you otherwise love. EXION ClearRF helps refresh the surface for a smoother, more even-looking complexion.

We start by getting to know your skin and the changes you would like to see, then talk through a treatment plan and what to expect.

What it is

Meet your reds remedy

ClearRF is the fractional resurfacing treatment on our EXION platform. It uses microablative radiofrequency to address selected redness, visible capillaries, discoloration, fine lines, and uneven texture.

Your consultation gives us time to understand your skin, what brings on the redness, and what you would most like to improve.

How it works

A fresh start at the surface

ClearRF uses an array of 64 pins and controlled radiofrequency energy to create tiny treatment zones across the skin. This is a fractional resurfacing treatment, not a needle used to trace and close individual veins.

As the treated surface renews, skin can look smoother and more even. The settings and treatment area are selected for your skin, with gradual improvement as healing and collagen remodeling continue.

Is it right for me?

Is ClearRF right for your redness?

ClearRF may suit you if you want to improve visible redness and texture together and can allow time for the surface to renew.

  • You notice visible capillaries or persistent facial redness.
  • You would also like smoother texture or more even tone.
  • You can follow a gentle skincare and sun-protection plan.
  • You are comfortable planning a series rather than expecting one visit to do everything.

Active rosacea, inflamed or irritated skin, and a history of pigment changes need careful assessment. Sometimes skin care or a dermatology visit should come before resurfacing.

What to expect

Your ClearRF appointment

From your first questions to the care afterward, here is how your visit comes together.

  1. 01

    Start with your skin

We review your redness, capillaries, skin history, and goals. Your consultation confirms the areas, settings, recovery, and a series of about three treatments.

  2. 02

    Numb + resurface

After topical numbing and cleansing, ClearRF treats the selected area in a fractional pattern. Calming ZO Skin Health care is applied afterward.

  3. 03

    Let your skin renew

Expect pinkness and warmth at first, then some flaking or dryness. Follow your aftercare as the surface settles and your complexion gradually looks smoother and more even.

Frequently asked

A few things you may be wondering

Have another question? We are happy to talk it through before you book.

Is ClearRF the same as BBL?

No. ClearRF uses fractional radiofrequency resurfacing. BBL is a light-based treatment. Our ClearRF treatment is offered through the EXION platform.

Can ClearRF treat rosacea?

We do not treat active rosacea with ClearRF. Heat can aggravate a flare, and redness may need a medical assessment or a different approach first.

How many treatments will I need?

We generally recommend three treatments about four to five weeks apart. Your skin and response determine the final plan.

What will my skin look like afterward?

Pinkness and warmth commonly settle over 24 to 48 hours. Flaking can follow during the first week, with dryness sometimes continuing into the second. Follow the skincare and sun-protection instructions we provide.

When will I see a change?

Some changes may become visible after one to two weeks. Smoothing and overall improvement develop gradually, with results continuing toward three months.

Can I combine it with another EXION treatment?

Yes, when appropriate. We can discuss a coordinated plan with EXION Face or RF Microneedling and explain any current combination offers.
