Can I discuss intimate concerns privately?+
Yes. Your complimentary consultation is private and tailored to you, whether you want to discuss bladder control, intimacy, or both. There is time for questions and a chair demonstration before you decide.
Can I wear an absorbent pad during treatment?+
We ask you to remove your pad before sitting on the chair. We provide a protective chair liner and a replacement pad afterward if needed, and explain preparation privately.
When will I notice a difference, and will I need maintenance?+
Timing varies. We review your response during the series and over the following weeks, including around eight weeks after the final session. If symptoms return, we reassess before recommending maintenance. Eligible repeat packages qualify for the Lifetime Loyalty Program.
Can men use EMSELLA too?+
Yes. We assess appropriate clients of all genders for pelvic floor and urinary concerns. New or unexplained urinary or sexual symptoms may need medical evaluation first.
Do I need to undress?+
You can remain clothed in suitable clothing. Some clients prefer treatment in underwear with a towel for coverage. We explain clothing and pad preparation privately before the session.
How often are the appointments?+
A typical package includes six sessions, twice weekly with two to three days between visits, over three weeks.
Will it hurt?+
You may feel tingling and strong pelvic floor contractions. Intensity is adjusted to your comfort. Tell your provider immediately if you feel pain so treatment can be stopped and assessed. There is no planned recovery time afterward.
Can I have a treatment during my period?+
We generally allow EMSELLA during menstruation, including with a tampon. Let us know about any discomfort and follow the preparation instructions we provide.
Will it help sexual wellness as well as leaks?+
Pelvic floor function can contribute to sexual sensation and comfort, but these concerns can have many causes. We discuss your symptoms privately and explain whether EMSELLA, another treatment, or medical care is appropriate.
